Rob Lutes' debut CD Gravity features a selection of stunning songs, some of which earned Rob awards at songwriting competitions including at Kerrville New Folk.

Recorded in Montreal by Andrew Frank (Studio DNA) and Barney Beninger (Studio Fast Forward), it was a collaborative effort between Rob, his band (Tony Cuco, Rob MacDonald and RD Harris), the engineers and some great guests including Ray Bonneville and Bob Stagg. The result is an album that was critically loved on release and really stands the test of time.

Lutes seems like a cross between the electric-acoustic duality of Fred Eaglesmith and the tenderness of Ron Sexsmith. Truly excellent.
